Whatever your part’s design, if there is a sealant or adhesive component, then Edge has a solution for you.
PSA thermal mastic used for converted tapes or laminations.
This family of hot melt materials is designed for use as very aggressive tack lower cohesive strength pressure-sensitive adhesives. It has a very high “quick-stick” and tack properties, but only fair shear strength. It has very good environmental stability and moderate peel strength. It is ideal for use in many environments where a system is needed for difficult to adhere substrates especially in construction applications. It can be used as a backing for tapes, foams including Styrofoam and various materials where a pressure sensitive nature is needed. The viscosity is designed to allow it to be applied via foam melt, spray, or swirl-spray.
Q254 is a flexible gasket sealant designed to meet the requirements of post cure vacuum bag cycles. It is intended for use with most bagging films and can be used on composite tool surfaces. It will function in vacuum processing cycles giving a positive seal even up to extended use at 400°F (204°C)
Delayed tack general purpose building envelope butyl.
This version of our Mastomeric series was designed to transverse two different plains of similar of dissimilar materials commonly found in roof construction such as end laps, roof seams, window flashings, joints, valley gutters and fasteners. No priming is required. This product can also be used for repairing elastomeric membranes on single-ply roofs.
Mastosplice (Type1) is a tough, durable material that has superior resistance to the elements. It meets or exceeds all requirements of the single ply roofing industry for splicing material.
Foam/non foamed thermally applied gasket.
This product is a user-friendly hot applied material designed for bonding window units. Typical substrates are engineered plastics, glass and various coated and uncoated metals.
Thermal mastic used for stand in seam joints
This thermally applied compound was specifically designed for metal building manufacturers producing standing seam roofs.
Foamable gasket for stand in seam joints.
This is a foamed-in-place gasketing sealant combining the best qualities of both closed c ell foam gaskets and elastomeric mastics. It has high adhesion and moderate surface tack and combines the low force to compress and high resiliency of foam with the water resistance and webbing characteristics of a good butyl sealant.
High temperature resistant thermally applied gasket
This product is designed for use as a foamed-in place gasket. It is generally applied thermally through fixed of flexible automation. As with other members of the ROBOFOAM family, the material can be applied as a solid or foamed product. It is more cost effective than traditional die-cut gaskets (foamed or solid) and almost all foamed tape and adhesive systems. Moreover, since it is applied-in-place it cannot be stretched or distorted at the time of assembly and therefore provides a more functional and lasting protective shield. Developed initially for the window and door industry, this product can also be used for other applications requiring adhesion to plastic, wood, and painted metal surfaces for gasketing and sound deadening.

PSA thermal mastic used for converted tapes, laminations, or glazing.
This product is a replacement for moisture-cure polyurethanes, which are commonly known as PURs. It eliminates many of the problems associated with such competitive products and can be applied with the same pumps, laminating rollers, roll coaters, and hot melt equipment.
