Additional DescriptionMore Details

This family of hot melt materials is designed for use as very aggressive tack lower cohesive strength pressure-sensitive adhesives. It has a very high “quick-stick” and tack properties, but only fair shear strength. It has very good environmental stability and moderate peel strength. It is ideal for use in many environments where a system is needed for difficult to adhere substrates especially in construction applications. It can be used as a backing for tapes, foams including Styrofoam and various materials where a pressure sensitive nature is needed. The viscosity is designed to allow it to be applied via foam melt, spray, or swirl-spray.

Edge Adhesives Thermal Mastic is a heat conducting compound that increases heat transfer four times the amount from expansion valves and controls when connecting the sensor bulb to the suction line, better heat transmission between coils and liners. Thermal Mastic has a working temperature range from -60ºF to 212ºF (-76ºC to 100ºC) and is available in 4 convenient sizes for virtually ay application. To enhance the performance of these and other temperature sensitive components that rely on surface-to-surface heat transfer, use Edge Adhesives Thermal Mastic.

Additional DescriptionMore Details

This product is designed for use as a foamed-in place gasket. It is generally applied thermally through fixed of flexible automation. As with other members of the ROBOFOAM family, the material can be applied as a solid or foamed product. It is more cost effective than traditional die-cut gaskets (foamed or solid) and almost all foamed tape and adhesive systems. Moreover, since it is applied-in-place it cannot be stretched or distorted at the time of assembly and therefore provides a more functional and lasting protective shield. Developed initially for the window and door industry, this product can also be used for other applications requiring adhesion to plastic, wood, and painted metal surfaces for gasketing and sound deadening.
