Dave Burger :: President/CEO
Dave Burger is a veteran of the adhesives, sealants and tape industry. He enjoyed a long career at 3M in technical, sales, marketing, international, M&A and general management functions. Focused primarily in the industrial and construction markets, Dave managed numerous businesses while at 3M, including pressure sensitive tapes, structural adhesives, contact adhesives, hot melt adhesives and sealants. He led the acquisition of five adhesive and sealant companies while at 3M.
Most recently Dave was President of InduGrow Corporation, a consulting company in the adhesives and sealants industry. In this role Dave partnered with several adhesive, sealant and specialty chemical companies to help them improve their business. Prior to InduGrow, Dave was President at NorthStar Chemicals. NorthStar is the leading manufacturer of canister system adhesives selling into the woodworking, RV, manufactured housing and HVAC industries.
Dave served on the Board of Directors of the Adhesives and Sealants Council (ASC) from 2001-2010 and was the Board Chair from 2006-2008.
Chris Arnoldt :: Director of Technology and Development
Christopher Arnoldt is now in his 6th year with the company. As well as his sales and application experience, Chris has developed and helped to commercialize 4 new patented products and applications for Edge. Chris served as Chairman for AAMA’s “Sealants and Adhesives for Installation” Committee for 2 years and is presently involved in numerous other trade and government groups, helping to drive the next generation of cutting edge sealant and adhesive technologies into the marketplace.

John Thomas :: VP of Operations
John Thomas has joined Edge Adhesives, Inc. as the VP of Manufacturing. He has over 25 years of management experience in the adhesive coating and laminating industry. John was the VP of Operations for Precision Web Coating, Inc. for 13 years and was the Plant Manager for Findley Adhesives Inc. for 7 years. John’s experience includes processing management and equipment, product development & technology with “hands on experience” in operations. John has a Computer Technology Technical Degree from Rets College in Ohio.
Randal Pearce :: VP, Finance
Randal Pearce has served as a Controller and Finance Manager for more than ten years. As a “hands on” manager, he has been deeply involved in every aspect of running a manufacturing company and understands the importance of designing and controlling the multiple processes needed to financially account for a manufacturing facility.
He joined the Edge team from the Brady Corporation, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, where he was the Finance Manager at their Dallas facility. While there, he helped move the facility to a new location as well as closed a sister factory and integrated it into Dallas facility. He also designed and implemented a formal cost accounting system for the facility. Prior to working at Brady, Randal was the Controller at Bluff Manufacturing for eight years.

Weny Yang :: Chemist
Weny Yang has been with the Company for 5 years. Weny has over 19 years experience in the chemical industry, including 4 years with another sealant and adhesive manufacturer. He holds his masters degree in chemistry from Queen’s University in Canada and a Bachelor degree majoring in polymer chemistry from Peking University in China. Weny has written several white papers on a variety of industry issues and is co inventor on several Edge patents.
Brandon Kline :: New Product Coordinator
Brandon Kline joined the Company 4 years ago. During that time Brandon has contributed to the growth of the Company by over seeing the plant and production activities. Brandon also participated in the design and building up for some of the equipment and participated in several of the initiatives that have resulted in the filings of patents. Brandon’s knowledge of the production capabilities combined with his understanding of certain sealants and adhesives has led to the production of several new products. Prior to joining the company, Brandon had 12 years of manufacturing experience.
