Extrusion Operator
- Responsible for producing quality extruded products. Able to follow directions given in English. Understand and be able to perform first level of maintenance on equipment. Must keep area clean while monitoring machine operation. Understands and set screw speed, can measure product where necessary extruded from the die. Can monitor and perform multiple tasks simultaneously: conveyor speed, rotation control and heating of the die.
Interfaces with Quality Control, Lab and Production personnel and Managers Ensures product compliance with written specifications, uses a caliper to monitor product width and other vital measurements.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. At least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment with experience in Extrusion and ISO or molding operations is highly desirable. Excellent mechanical aptitude skills. Good team player. Works to assigned tasks. Can understand operations procedures and setup of the machine. Able to Lift 30 lbs. and can stand for long hours on a concrete floor. Able to work in lab & Production area. Extrusion Operator must be Quality oriented and a team player
Packer-Winder
- Works on extrusion lines to wind, cut, pack and stencil the products being prepared for sale or shipment. Verifies size, weight, and count of completed products. Must be able to wind and pack on a line, know requirements and watch the quality of products in process. High school diploma or GED desired. Basic verbal aptitude and dexterity skills necessary. Must read and write English. Prior experience a plus. Experience in printing and newspaper industry, a plus Should be able to lift 30-40 Lbs, can stand long hours, and work in hot or cold areas.
