BITE Line

RoofBITE tapes were designed by Edge Adhesives as a one-part solution for roof repairs, seaming and waterproofing. This innovative line of products was designed for both commercial and residential sloped roofing applications as a single step solution for long term success.

Formulated by Edge for long life-cycles, these products will increase the energy efficiency of your roof system. Unlike competitors’ materials, Edge’s adhesive will not oxidize over time, crack or harden. It is a flexible seal that will adjust with the natural movements of your building system.

Versatility was what we had in mind during the formulation of this compound. We used a unique blend of our butyl technology and blended it with our proprietary block co-polymer synthetics to create a wide temperature application range adhesive that will adhere on wet surfaces at temperatures below 0ºF, while maintaining their thermal stability at temperatures up to 300ºF.

Having difficulty adhering to some surfaces? No problem for Edge, being a lab driven manufacture we had the wide variety of surfaces and other adhesives you might come into contact with in mind. This proprietary adhesive blend will not allow for plasticizer migration like other butyls when in prolonged contact with TPO, EPDM, Asphalt and Coal Tar BURs, CPE and Vinyls. It is also compatible with emerging market share surfaces such as Densdeck®, Solarboard® and Greenboard®. List of all approved surfaces available upon request.

RubberBITE- Seaming and Repair tape for EPDM rubber roofing system.
TPOBITE- Seaming and Repair tape for commercial TPO roofing systems.
FleeceBITE- Fleece backed butyl repair tape. Compatible with polymetric coatings, and primers. Coatings must be used for long term UV stability.
DoubleBITE- Lap seam tape.
PETBITE- Anti-friction tape.
B/WBITE- General purpose roofing repair and seam tapes. Comes in black and white color variations.
AlumaBITE- Aluminum backed mechanical seaming tape. Combination of high grade reflective surface and butyl compound allow for long term exposure to elements.

All RoofBITE tapes are available in 2”, 3”, 4”, 6”, 8”, 12”, 18” and up to 47” widths.
